Jennifer Glenn
has a career which has centred on the classroom and across learning areas. Her roles have included:
- literacy including as a writer on the Effective Literacy Handbook and as an ALL facilitator
- professional learning for teachers in school, as the SCT facilitator, as an independent workshop convenor, on the Teach First programme, as a Cross-CoL co-ordinator
- research at masters and doctoral level into what works in a classroom - especially around writing and making teacher feedback effective

is an education consultant with a specialisation in secondary literacy. Her roles have included:
- work across a range of primary and secondary schools to develop and embed learning area literacy
- support to develop school-wide literacy initiatives
- research at masters and doctorate level into how to improve feedback to teachers through engaging their belief systems, with a special focus on literacy
